High School Republicans of Puerto Rico Take Top National Awards

The High School Republicans of Puerto Rico participated in the 2015 National Teen Age Republicans (TARS) Leadership Conference held in the Washington, DC area on July 21-25, 2015.  We are proud to announce that the Puerto Rico TARS, chaired by Alexander González, were awarded ¨Club of the Year¨ at the conference where 33 States were represented.  José E. Muñiz Gómez, former High School Republicans of Puerto Rico Chairman, was selected as Outstanding TAR in the Nation.  Last year at the same conference, the Puerto Rico delegation passed a resolution in favor of the Immediate Admission of Puerto Rico as a State.  The Teen Age Republicans (TARS) is a national, youth-based organization challenging, training, and assisting teens to become involved in their local, state, and national political processes.
